This year's Summer blockbuster season is chock full of films that I've been hankerin' to see. Now I haven't seen all of them yet (Guardians of the Galaxy doesn't even come out until August) but here are my thoughts on the ones that I have seen so far:

Wonderful World of Online Media Update
Well two pretty awesome pieces of news to update the world with:
Firstly I have become a contributor for The Geek Supremacy Project, doing a weekly news podcast and posting the occasional article on their site. If you want to check out the news show you can go here, or if you would prefer to read my first article about the Avengers Assemble cartoon you can go here. Now don't worry I'm not going to neglect Hansen's Horror Hub, I just now have an outlet for my less gory passions. I will also make sure to post links every time I have a new article there.
The second big piece of news is I AM NOW ON IMDB! The things you learn when you search your name on different websites.
That is all.

2012: Some of it was Awesome and Some of it Sucked
Well Now that there is officially no more time for me to watch any 2012 horror films in 2012 I have compiled my list of the best I saw, and the worst. I actually made an effort this year to watch horror movies that came out this year, wish I'd seen more, but hey that's what 2013 is for. Both lists are in no particular order.

Cabins In Woods (The Cabin in the Woods, Evil Dead the Musical... and the Avengers)
Why hello there, I didn't expect you to come back here since I've been pretty quiet lately. Well I have done my best to keep busy in the time I haven't been typing. One of the things I have done is get my Whedon on in theatres.
First I went to see The Cabin in the Woods... alone... I was just sick of waiting and trying to find someone to go with me. It felt like I was the only person in the world who hadn't seen it. Actually it was my first time going to the theatres alone and I think it was more pleasant for the rest of the audience because I wasn't whispering snide remarks to the person sitting beside me. They just had to put up with my squeals of joy. Read on after the jump for musings on the film, a musical and another film.
