And Hallowe'en Came to an End (Been Blogging for 2 Years)

Jack o lanterns, they just get better with age.
Well it's a few days late, but the most wonderful time of the year has come to an end. And somehow over the past two years I've had over 9000 clicks on this here blog. Wondering why I wasn't posting on Hallowe'en? That's because I was busy watching women strip whilst dousing themselves in blood. Yes, I went to the Bloody Betty Black Mass, of course a few movies were watched prior to the 9pm show (Addams Family and Trick 'r Treat if you were wondering) as well as the completion of my pumpkin carving task and getting my costume prepped and ready. Now you can read on for photos of my pumpkins, an assessment of the Bloody Betty show and my annual list of all the horror movies I've watched.

And here are the pumpkin pictures as promised:
I think their's something wrong with me guys.

Is there something on my face?
Now unfortunately I am a terrible person when it comes to bringing my camera places and actually remembering to take pictures so photos of my Hallowe'en costume are seriously lacking. I will tell you who I went as though, Lola from The Loved Ones. Unfortunately no one at the Bloody Betty show was able to figure that out... Speaking of the Bloody Betty show I should probably give you the lowdown on how that went down.
This is the only picture I have thus far.
The show took place at a bar called The Cobalt, which has a nudity license. Now I found that the nudity license actually lessened the show because many of the dancers just got naked instead of creating a more interesting routine, seeing your panini isn't as interesting as it would have been to see you construct a wig that made it seem like you were scalping yourself onstage. I'd say that my favourite performances of the night were done by Missy Anne and Bloody Betty herself. Missy's was an innovative Egyptian cat dance and my favourite of Betty's was her Night Prowler routine. There was also a cool satanist routine, but I can't for the life of me remember what the dancer's name is. There was a voodoo style dance as well that involved a snake, but the entire time I was really worried the snake would get dropped or stepped on so I was distracted through that one.

The show was definitely intense, intense enough that I ended up fainting part way through, I think it was from the fumes from the black spray dye I used on my hair. I even hit my head on the floor, it's still a little tender. That's a pretty ample excuse for not remembering everything about the show right? From what I remember I preferred the Kitty Frights show, probably due to the lack of vertical smiles being shown.

And finally of course is this years updated list of horror movies I remember having seen:
